this moment

{inspired by Soulemama}  A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.

  1. That's a great shot. It looks like your spinning on a merry-go-round or something. It looks like the holiday is a lot of fun around your home.

Here is our more stationary moment:

  2. That is an interesting photo. It could take on a few different interpretations. One of my all time favourite things to do is sit near our Christmas tree at night time in the light of the beautiful christmas lights. I was just saying to my hubby last night that I remember sitting by our tree in 2005 and desperately hoping that the following Christams I would be sitting there with our baby. Thankfully it was January 2006 that we found out we were pregnant with Savanna. So my dream of having a baby in my arms was fullfilled and now this Christmas I am blessed beyond measure to be able to celebrate Christams with three precious babies.

I thought of you when I saw my email from Dover this morning as it had quite a few vintage sample Christmas pictures (like the Halloween pictures I had). To sign up just google the Dover Sampler.

  4. I can almost hear the pitter-patter from his footsteps in that picture.

10 minutes prior to that photo, the kids were moving in slow motion. I remembered I had bought some of those huge punch balls a few weeks back on the way home and they never made it out of my car. I went out to the garage and came back with a blue and pink punch ball for each kid and they did not stop moving for the rest of the night!
