For the second year in a row, we've been taking the kids to the Trains at Northpark Center, (now in it's 22nd year) benefiting the Ronald McDonald House. The children enjoy seeing the trains zoom through tunnels and miniature lifeforms depicting cities across America - even taking into consideration for subways, which I always get a kick out of since I grew up in NYC.
The only challenge is leaving the display in tact, as it truly is a mesmerizing experience that beckons you to plunge forth and play!
Catch the trains now through Jan 3rd or watch the news clip video on YT.
This will be an event that we will NEVER miss. If we tried to skip it this year, I'm sure Noah would have found a way to drive to the mall himself, or possibly might have called a Taxi.
He went absolutely crazy this year just like last year. If it was up to him, we would have stayed longer (forever?) - but, he got his train ration for the week during that one trip.
On a side note...
Until I was 4 of 5 years old, I was sure I was going to be a train conductor when i grew big enough. I guess there is a genetic sequence that must have something to do with trains that gets passed along from father to son.
